James Mylne has become well known for his use of ballpoint pens to create photo-realist drawings. People often have to view videos of him doing the drawings to believe they are created with nothing more than a biro.
Born in London in 1981 he has been creating these drawings since he was 16. He finished his art MA in 2006 and has been in public shows ever since.
In recent years he has been combining his unique ballpoint work with other media such as spray paint and markers.
Most recently his work was on the cover of Addlib magazine and collaborated with legendary photographer Terry O'Niell in a group show in Fitzrovia, London.
